Jessica Robles Studio is a one woman show thatβs all about giving life to the mundane, inviting in curiosity, and keeping the imagination thriving. I never want to stop learning and I hope you feel the same.
I love creating and providing pieces that hold a narrative, creating commissioned pieces that are full of my whole heart, and providing educational opportunities for fellow artists and creatives.
THIS IS WHAT I DO
ILLUSTRATION
As a child of the 80βs, my free time was spent OUTSIDE! My sense of play and imagination come to life the most when I am in nature. Flora and Fauna have become my comfortable refuge where my brain enjoys itβs calming moments, so naturally, I tend to enjoy drawing this type of content the most and I fall in love with the textures and details in ink, watercolor, and graphite.
PRINTMAKING
Have you been exposed to the magical world of Printmaking? (You have! Itβs all around us!) I have been creating original hand-pulled prints since 2002, but printmaking itself is over two thousand years old! Techniques include relief, intaglio, lithography and screenprinting. Prints are hand-drawn or carved as well as hand-printed - meaning each impression is an original! These challenging and complex processes have won my heart and I hope they win yours too!
COMMISSION WORK
My commissions primarily consist of pet portraits, but thatβs not all I do! Past commissions have included tattoo designs, house portraits, floral designs, and more! Does my work match a project of yours? I want to work with you! Contact me for inquiries!
WORKSHOPS
Do you have a creative space or classroom? I am available as a visiting artist and instructor for drawing and printmaking techniques!
Send me an email if this interests you!
